01 / Context

A place to meet, connect & belong

The Micklefield Community Centre project involved creating a website for a local community hub in the UK. The main goal was to build a platform that not only presents the organisation’s activities, but above all makes it easier for residents to access its services and encourages active participation in local community life.

The website structure was designed around the most important user needs. It includes a clear event presentation system, calendar subscription options, detailed membership forms and venue hire enquiry forms. The site was also enhanced with a filterable photo gallery and dedicated sections presenting the centre’s history, activities and the people involved in running the organisation.

Visually, we focused on a bright, welcoming and accessible style that reflects a place open to people of all ages. The colour palette, typography and section layout were all designed with clarity and easy navigation in mind, without unnecessarily complicating the interface.

The result is a modern and functional website that acts as a digital information hub, supports the everyday activities of Micklefield Community Centre and creates a convenient point of contact between the organisation and the local community.

02 / Approach

More Than a Meeting Place

The website for Micklefield Community Centre in the UK combines a modern, welcoming design with extensive functionality. It was created to give local residents easy access to events, centre information, membership options and venue hire, while reflecting the open, community-focused character of the organisation.
